My mom won't let me dress how I want?
I have a really unique style. I love unique textures and patterns, leather jackets, dark skinny jeans, boots, lace tights, scarves, vests, berats, lace dresses and shirts, and really unique jewelry choices like feather earrings or a cool metallic necklace. It's kind of an Indie Boho Chic style, but my mom hates it!
Everytime I try something on, she says I look like a stripper or something. She has a very plain style - Plain sweater, mom jeans, and clogs, with usually no jewelry, except for maybe small earrings. She hates how I love lots of darker clothes and big earrings. I'm not goth or anything, I'm actually really bright and bubbly, I just like my style. But everytime I try to buy something, she gets upset and says I look like a hooker, or I'm too young to wear stuff like this. I'm really artsy, and I want to be in architecture or fashion, but how can I be in fashion if I can't wear what I want? HELP?!

she's your mom so she must love you, and if you love someone you want them to be who they are and if this is your unique style its how you show who you are (express yourself) so she should want you to express yourself. tell this to your mom and it might change her mind it works when i explain it to my parents
