should i use a spine/chest protector over my leather suit?
i have a field sheer jacket and pants that zip up together. should i get a spine and chest protector over my suit or will that be overkill?
i have a honda xl 185 dirt bike made street legal and trying to upgrade to a bike thats 305 cc
Additional protection should be under the suit. That will help to better keep it in place, and the advantage of an outer leather layer is that you will slide, rather than tumbling, in a fall. Tumbling causes many more injuries.
I assume that you are ONLY riding on the street: Leathers are too hot to wear while trail riding!
