How can I convince my mother to stop making me wear fur coats?
Im a vegetarian, I don't eat meat, I don't wear real leather, and Im an animal rights believer. Im also 16, and I don't believe my mother is allowed to control me like that.
I have to wear a coat made of fox fur to church (not faux, FOX) and when I complain, and state my arguments, she just says "Keep your opinions to yourself. You are Russian. Russians love to wear fur, and so will you."
I DON"T! Wearing these jackets makes me feel horrible! Im so sick of it! I wear faux fur trim on my everyday coats, but its FAKE! Apparently, I can't wear elegant coats if it's not made of real fur.
I get punished for stating my opinion. How can I convince her to let me wear faux fur, and not have to run around in a huge real fur coat?

First, get punished, so what? Animals deserve to live, so don't wear them, wear your own skin.
