Removing scuffs/polish from polished leather boots?
I'm in the police academy. Our boots are required to be kept in top condition. Unfortunately, with the large size of our class lots of accidents happen. When I try to polish over the scuffs it gets shiny but the ridges still show through! Usually when it gets too bad I scrape most of the polish off with a key or something. I can only imagine what that's doing to my leather! Is there a way to adequately remove scuffs or safely remove polish?
Sorry i don't like cops and/or future cops.
