Cleaning Washable Suede Jackets

My washable suede jacket got big faded blotches on it the first time I washed it, why?
I followed the directions, cold water, separately, mild detergent. I want to know if it is fixable (dyeing, dry cleaning)
Washable suede is made from polyester, you cannot dye this fabric, dry cleaning will not help with fading...your best bet is to cover the fading on the jacket with fabric paints & dyes, sponging, painting, stamping, etc.
