What could I use to remove a water stain from a pair of dark brown suede boots?
I just bought a cute pair of boots on eBay, but unfortunately, the seller
didn't mention that they had a water stain on them, and they photographed them from an angle that the stains didn't show. I bought
a "Suede Cleaning Kit" at the shoe store that had sort of an eraser-type thing and a stiff suede brush in it. Tried it, and it didn't work.
So for now, I just have the suede brushed in the direction where they
look the darkest, and the stain isn't as noticeable. I may try to clean
them up some more, then spray with suede spray, which will make them a little darker. Any other ideas:? Thanks!
My sister had a pair of boots she loved but thought she ruined them at work, they looked like hell, but she brought them to a shoe repair place in our area and they looked brand new. I don't think it even cost her 10 dollars. I would try that see if they can help.
